The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010)

I just came back from the movie theater, and let me just say that this movie was amazing. I have been wanting to see it since, like, February when I first ever say the commercial. Jay Baruchel just has the sweetest personality and most adorable face. I have to admit, I'm not a giant fan of Nicolas Cage, but something about this movie captured him in just the right way, so it was perfect. Also, they threw in a little romance with Jay's character and this actress, Teresa Palmer, who I thought was actually really talented for a somewhat unkown actress. That was also really adorable. There were great one liners and funny parts thrown in, and "intense" sequences and things that kind of make you go "wait, what?" And of course, I always love a movie with magic involved, not to mention that there was a Harry Potter trailer in the previews, so that was a definite plus. Reviews by other people gave this a bad rating, but they were probably written by forty year old guys who couldn't care less about movies aimed for younger viewers. As for me, I absoultey loved it. And plus, the main song featured in it, "Secrets" by One Republic, gave me chills whenever it came on, and there were scenes where I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat.
